My neice, Lily Marie, was born on November 17th, 2005, after only 18 weeks of pregnancy. I got the call Thursday morning at about 5 am, that Haley's water had broken and the cord had prolapsed, and that the baby would not make it. That morning they induced her labor, and by 6:06 pm Lily was born.
Haley and Christian are so devastated, but have been so amazingly strong and courageous through this whole experience. Our families have come together in love and sadness, and there have been a lot of touching moments. We are all so sad that we will never know Lily Marie, and so so sorry for Haley and Christian's loss.
