The Self-Nurture Challenge

My amazing friend, Savannah, has challenged us moms to find some way to nurture ourselves each and every day this week leading up to Mother's Day.

I will be playing along, and I hope you will too!!

You can read her post and let her know what activities you have done by visiting her Mindfully Mothering blog.

Thanksgiving #2

Kirk decided that he wanted LOTS of turkey leftovers, so he cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday...it was soooo delicious!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in the Bay area with Rich's uncle & aunt, Fred & Nieves. It was so strange for me to experience a sunny warm Thanksgiving day...not like Thanksgivings at home at all. We talked and ate and talked and ate some more, and then played a very LIVELY game of Pictionary. Those Zolas are REALLY competitive, and so it was very cut-throat to the finish (with a controversial winning of "David & Goliath"). We had sooooo much fun!

I wish I had a link to some of Jered's work--he's living in LA and acting, and had just come from shooting a starring role in an Indie film that sounds really cool
